Mina Al-Share‘ Al-Jadeed Hospital Gears up to Serve Pilgrims

Mina Al-Share‘ Al-Jadeed Hospital-Mena has fully geared up to provide integrated health services for pilgrims. This comes as part of the unstinting support by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, to enable pilgrims to perform their rituals easily and conveniently.


According to the Ministry of Health (MOH), Mina Al-Share‘ Al-Jadeed Hospital is one four hospitals available in Mena. “The hospital with a 50-bed capacity includes 14 intensive care (IC) beds, 2 isolation beds, 4 dialysis devices, 18 beds allocated for heat exhaustion and sunstroke cases, and 5 respiratory isolation beds. Also, the hospitals features 11 general outpatient clinics and a special endoscopy unit with fully equipped medical supplies, in addition to a number of medical support services departments, including a laboratory equipped with all necessary devices to perform necessary tests with most accurate standards, and an X-ray department equipped with state-of-the-art devices for patient comfort. Besides, the hospital has prepared the pharmacy, statistics, and medical records departments to provide all the necessary services for patients”, MOH stated.

MOH added: “As part of the operational plan for housing the Hajj Visiting Manpower at the hospital during this year's Hajj Season, the hospital has prepared an appropriate place for receiving and providing convenience to 297 mandated medical, technical and administrative staff (males and females).”
