His Excellency the Health Minister Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah has signed before yesterday a cooperation agreement with Abdullah Al-Othaim Investment Company represented by Chairman of Board of Directors Muhammad Abdullah Al-Othaim. As per the agreement maternity and children clinics will be launched at Al-Othaim malls, namely: Al-Othaim Mall, Dammam, Al-Othaim Mall, Al-Ehsa, Grand Mall, Hail and Arar Mall, Arar, with the aim of providing integrated free health services for women and children inside the malls. The clinics feature early detection and prevention of a host of chronic diseases in the Kingdom such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, cardiovascular diseases, breast cancer, colon cancer, osteoporosis, as well as general consultation for maternity and children diseases and basic and seasonal vaccinations for children and adults. They also feature first aid services, health awareness and education about protection against non-communicable and chronic diseases. The clinics, at the commercial malls, are designed to be accessible to women of all age groups and children. They are scheduled to operate in the evening throughout the week.
On the other hand, the Maternity and Children Clinic in Hayat Mall, Riyadh continues offering its health services. The Clinic features early detection of various diseases, including breast cancer, colon cancer, osteoporosis and hypertension. The Clinic also conducts clinical tests, refers cases for further follow-up to reference bodies, boosts having healthy and balanced food, motivates breastfeeding, raises women's awareness, provides consultations, ensures natural child growth, refers children to concerned bodies if needed, stresses the importance of healthy balanced food for children based on their age groups. The clinic serves outpatients from 03:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. 7 days a week.
