The Ministry of Health (MOH) concluded a memorandum of cooperation with Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare yesterday, Tuesday, in Tokyo, the capital of Japan. The signatories of the memorandum were the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah and Japanese Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare, Mr. Yasuhisa Shiozaki.
The memorandum, which aims to develop healthcare, was concluded on the sidelines of the Asian tour of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, may Allah protect him.
The agreement aims to establish a basis for cooperation in the health fields between the two countries, through exchange of expertise in the healthcare field between the two ministries, in addition to cooperation in the fields of training and medical researches.
Within the same vein, Al-Rabiah discussed with his Japanese counterpart means of cooperation between the two countries to upgrade the efficiency of healthcare through innovative plans and strategic partnership for the benefit of the two countries.
