MOH: Successful Repair of Skull Fracture at Al-Wajh Hospital
02 March 2017
A medical team at Al-Wajh Hospital, Tabuk Region, managed to save the life of a 32-year old citizen with severe skull fracture caused by a traffic accident. He was unconscious when he arrived at the emergency section and immediately put on a ventilator, having deep wound at the front of his head, several fractures in the skull, tearing in the dura mater and laceration in the brain cells that were flowing out.

He was immediately admitted to the operating room, where he underwent surgery, during which they sucked out the lacerated brain cells, patched up the dura mater and repaired the skull fractures. The patient was put under intensive care until a gradual improvement in his health was noticed and discharged from the hospital. Upon doing necessary medical tests at the neurology clinic it is found that there is no weakness in any of his limbs, and he restored his memory, which he lost due to the seriousness of the injury to his brain cells.
