A medical Team at King Fahad Specialist Hospital (KFSH) in Tabuk has succeeded to conduct the first endoscopy procedure for the respiratory system of a 27-year-old patient. The Ministry of Health (MOH) pointed out that the patient had been suffering from dyspnea and a lack of oxygen, thus endoscopy for the respiratory system and bronchoscopy have been conducted to the patient. She is currently enjoying good health, May Allah be praised.
It is worth mentioning that the Endoscopy Unit at KFSH is reckoned a paradigm shift in the field of medical services provided to patients and visitors in the region; as it has been equipped with the latest capabilities in this area and supplied with highly trained medical and technical cadres. Furthermore, the unit saves the patients’ hardship of going to other hospitals for undergoing such kind of procedures.
