His Excellency the Minister of Health, Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, has met at his ministerial office today with the Korean Minister of Health and Welfare, Mr. Jung Jin-Yeop. During the meeting, they have discussed a number of topics related to the development of health cooperation in various fields between both friendly countries. Among the most prominent topics were the way to benefit from the Korean expertise in the health informatics domain and the development of modern technologies in the health care and medical equipment. The topics, also, include the cooperation in the research domain related to the communicable diseases and the biotechnologies development and manufacture, as well as training the medical and nursing staff in the Korean medical educational institutions.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Vice Minister of Health, Mr. Hamad Al-Duweila‘ and a number of the Deputy Ministers and Advisors, in addition to members of the delegation accompanying the hosted Minister.
It is worth mentioning that the hosted Minister is currently paying a visit to the Kingdom, including King Abdulaziz Medical City (affiliated to the National Guard) and King Fahd Medical City (KFMC).
