In the presence of the Deputy Minister of Health for Therapeutic Services, Dr. Tareef Yousef Alaama, the Mental and Social Health General Department has honored Dr. Abdul-Hameed bin Abdullah Al-Habeeb yesterday at Pereira Hotel in Riyadh. The honoring ceremony came in recognition of his efforts during his tenure as Director-General of the Mental and Social Health General Department for more than ten years.
During his speech in the ceremony, Dr. Tareef Alaama has extended his thanks and appreciation to Dr. Al-Habeeb; for his efforts and various achievements, which have been marked by diligence and devotion.
For his part, the Acting Director General of Mental and Social Health, Dr. Yousef bin Ibrahim Abdul-Ghany, touched in his speech upon the impacts and achievements of Dr. Al-Habeeb during his tenure, in collaboration with his colleagues. The ceremony also included a poem and a brief documentary presentation on Dr. Al-Habeeb's biography.
At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Al-Habeeb has been handed over some commemorative shields and souvenirs from a number of employees and departments of the mental health and social service, representing various relevant sectors.
