Under the chairmanship of the Head of Hajj Preparatory Committees, Dr. Emad bin Ali Al-Jahdali, the Hajj Preparatory Committees held their first meeting on Monday, November 30th, 2015 (corresponding to Safar 18th, 1437H) at Ministry of Health's (MOH) headquarter. The meeting discussed a number of topics, including the lessons learned from the MOH’s plans during the past Hajj season, the needs of all hajj-related committees and Makkah and Madinah regions, as well as developing the information technology mechanism of identifying the pilgrim's identification and his medical history, and developing statistics' systems and procedures.
The Supervisor General of Hajj and Umrah Health Services, Dr. Hussein bin Abdullah Ghannam, highlighted the support granted by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRH the Crown Prince, and HRH the Deputy Crown Prince, may Allah protect them, in addition to the follow-up of His Excellency the Minister of Health and directives of His Excellency the Vice Minister, to prepare for developing Hajj systems and procedures for this year (1437\2016).
