The Governor of Madinah, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, launched yesterday evening a number of developmental and service projects in Khaibar Province, with the attendance of Their Excellency the Minister of Housing, Dr. Shewaish Al-Dhewaihi, and Minister of Health, Mr. Ahmad Al-Khateeb.
At the outset of his visit, the Governor of Madinah inaugurated the new building of Khaibar Province and inspected the services the Province is providing for citizens and residents. He emphasized the importance of using the Governorate's electronic services to meet the needs of beneficiaries of services offered by provinces and centers.
Afterwards, the Governor handed over keys of 149 housing units to the beneficiaries of the housing project in Khaibar. The Minister of Housing, in his speech on this occasion, confirmed that the project is one of the first housing projects implemented by the Ministry in Madinah region.
He went on saying, "The Khaibar project is just the beginning of a nonstop process in the housing market in the Kingdom and the coming period will witness handing over of more housing units of the completed projects in different regions, in addition to other projects through which the citizen will receive a land plot, and at the same time the project will be awarded to the infrastructure contractor."
After a field tour to the units and facilities of the housing project, the Governor of Madinah, accompanied by the Minister of Health Ahmad Al-Khateeb, has launched Khaibar General Hospital. He had a look at the miniature and maps of the project, whose construction cost hit SR 151 million, and then he toured the 100-bed hospital and listened to a summarized report about the specialties and clinics in the hospital which is equipped with the latest equipment and therapeutic services.
Concluding his visit, the Madinah Governor met with the people of the region during a ceremony held on this occasion at the Cultural Center, where the people of Khaibar expressed their thanks to the Governor for his constant keenness to inspect the developmental services and projects in the light of the great support offered by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, may Allah protect him, for whatever leads to provision of different services for the needy citizens in their areas.
