Minister of Health Tours Hospitals and Meets Patients

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Muhammad bin Ali Alhayaza, met with a number of patients, visitors and beneficiaries of the services provided by the Ministry's facilities. He listened to their suggestions and got acquainted with their requests and comments, and promised them to harness all capabilities to provide best services.  
 
This came during the tour conducted by HE Dr. Muhammad Alhayaza, today morning (Thursday), to a number of health facilities in Riyadh, starting with Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz Hospital, where he attended a presentation by Dr. Ali Al-Amry about the hospital and services provided to patients, as well as a detailed explanation of the number and scope of services.
 
He also got acquainted with the developments of the medical tower project currently under construction in the hospital, which includes hospitalization rooms, operations section and intensive care rooms with a capacity of 200 beds, in addition to a special building for services. He stressed to the workers and officials to hurry up and complete the project on time.
 
The Minister of Health concluded his visit with a tour through the hospital's facilities including hospitalization wards, emergency section and diabetes center. He praised the efforts being exerted in the hospital, and urged them to exert more efforts and time to promote the services for the sake of the citizen.
 
He also visited a group of the primary health care centers, where he was briefed on the progress of work and provided services.
 
Then he paid a field visit to Imam Abdul Rahman Al-Faisal Hospital, south of Riyadh, and got acquainted on the progress of work at the emergency section, hospitalization wards, and the clinics buildings.
 
He said, "Thanks to Allah for such ongoing development and the exerted efforts with the aim of serving the citizen and comforting the patient in accordance to the best services. I and my colleagues in all sectors are keen to implement the vision of the leadership." He pointed out that the issue of working hours of the primary health care centers is currently under study, and the Ministry shows keen interest in whatever helps patients and alleviates their suffering.
