His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Muhammad bin Ali Alhayaza, will lead the Saudi delegation participating in the 78th Conference of GCC Health Ministers Council, which will take place in Riyadh on 15th - 16th Rabei II, 1436 H, corresponding to 4th - 5th February, 2015, under the theme “Measuring Health Systems’ Performance: the Way to Excellence”.
Membership of the Saudi delegation includes His Excellency the Vice Minister for Health Affairs, Dr. Mansour bin Nasser Alhowasi, His Excellency the Vice Minister for Planning and Development, Dr. Muhammad Khoshaim, the Deputy Minister of Health for Public Health, Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Saeed, the Advisor to the Minister of Health and Supervisor General of ICT, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmed al-Weheibi, the Director-General of the Medical Supply General Department, Dr. Ahmed Almosilhi, and the Acting Director General of the International Relations General Department, Ph. Hissa Al-Motairi.
It's to be noted here that the conference will address many scientific topics related to developing health work systems, promoting their mechanisms, and seeking the best practices and ways of excellence, as well as reviewing international developments and making use of them in such a manner which serves people of the region.
The Ministry of Health is going to present a scientific and technological paper under the theme: Measuring Health Systems’ Performance: the Way to Excellence”. During the conference, moreover, Riyadh Document will be signed.
