The Pharmaceutical Care Department in Mina al-Share' al-Jadeed Hospital has organized a voluntary awareness campaign for pilgrims under the theme: “The Awareness Campaign for Drug Education - 1435H” spanning seven days, five hours a day. Awareness and educational brochures containing scientific material about diabetes drugs (injection), ointments and eye drops used in Hajj, in addition to some pharmaceutical tips relevant to drug usage, storage and educational materials for workers in hospitals, including physicians, technicians, etc.
The director of the hospital, Dr. Khalid Mohamed Al-Shahrani, said that the campaign was launched on Tuesday 6/12/1435H, adding that campaign coordinators specialized in media and pharmaceutical education were assigned so as for it to be conducted in the required manner and to achieve its objectives in coordination with the MOH Pharmaceutical Care General Department.
