Mina al-Share' al-Jadeed Hospital Fully Prepared to Receive Pilgrims

In Mina al-Share' al-Jadeed Hospital, one of the four hospitals available in the northern part of Mina, preparations go on by leaps and bounds to receive pilgrims during the Hajj season.
 
As per the director of the Hospital, Dr. Khalid Mohamed Al-Shahrani, the number of the medical, technical and administrative cadres working in the hospital amounts to over 350 officers. "In addition," he said, "the hospital includes 14 intensive care (IC) beds, 2 negative pressure IC beds for medical isolation system, and 2 beds for heat exhaustion to treat sunstroke cases, in addition to 18 emergency beds, 34 inpatient beds (male/ female), 13 outpatient clinics and bandage rooms, 4 modern dialysis devices, as well as a special endoscopy unit with fully equipped medical supplies, ultrasound devices and X-ray devices for the emergency and inpatient cases."
 
He noted that the work has started in the site to oversee the hospital's preparation and follow up the medical and non-medical operation, maintenance and nutrition companies. He added that the hospital also staffed with distinctive manpower: heads of sections, consultant physicians, specialists, resident physicians, technicians in the fields of nursing, laboratory, pharmacy, sterilization, statistics,  dialysis, nutrition, endoscopy, as well as the administrative staff working on personnel affairs, medical records, the mortuary, deposits, maintenance, medical maintenance, safety and security; collectively totaling 272 employees.
