The Ministry would like to clarify that the previously-announced 900 job opportunities represented the first stage of the job announcements. The other vacancies for technicians and other cadres will be announced respectively in all regions, explaining the mechanism for filling them by the Saudi cadres, including the graduates of the health diploma during the next fiscal year 1436H.

It should also be noted that due to the association of these job opportunities with the human health, the situation requires subjecting the new employees to an adequate training period, during which we could upgrade his ability and competence to perform the job requirements in the best manner. So, for all those who will be appointed as technicians, the Ministry will qualify and train them using a codified training program, following the example of the training program attended by their colleagues who were covered by the Royal Decree No. 26736 dated Rajab 12th, 1434H.

It is worth mentioning that the Ministry is currently training about 5,500 graduates of the health diplomas based upon the abovementioned Royal Decree. The ministry is due to hire those who will pass the training program in its self-employment job vacancies available at various health facilities as of the start of the new Hijri year (1436H). This comes as part of the ministry’s commitment to execute the Royal Decree.

We also note that the Royal Decree issued in 1434H has approved the self-employment program in all MOH's hospitals and medical centers in a gradual manner and after agreement with the Ministry of Finance.
