His Excellency the Acting Minister of Health, Eng. Adel bin Muhammad Faqih, has paid today morning an inspection visit to Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Hospital (PMAH) in East Riyadh; in an endeavor to reassure the health status of the patients infected with the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome-Corona Virus (MERS-CoV), who are hospitalized there, and make sure of the proper healthcare services provided to them at this hospital.
During the visit, Eng. Faqih has met with the health professionals working at the hospital, and kept a close eye on the facilities and readiness there for controlling the virus, given that this hospital is one of three main medical centers allocated by the Ministry of Health (MOH) for controlling Coronavirus in Riyadh, Jeddah and the Eastern Region, in addition to another hospital in each of the main cities all over the Kingdom’s regions.
It is worth mentioning that this visit comes as part of the inspection visits paid by Eng. Faqih; to follow up the health services provided to Corona cases. Besides, Eng. Faqih has previously visited a number of patients at King Fahad Medical City in Riyadh, Madinah and Jeddah.
