MINISTRY OF HEALTH MAKES ADMINISTERIAL CHANGES AT KING FAHAD HOSPITAL

To ensure patients get the best possible care at King Fahad Hospital in Jeddah, the Ministry of Health today made administerial changes at the hospital.
 
Due to the need to increase the quality of patient care, the Ministry has taken decisive action to remove the current General Manager and assistant to ensure the standard of care at King Fahad hospital is immediately improved. 
 
From today, the new administration team in place will be General Manager Dr Imad Al-Jahdali, supported by Dr Hani Jukhdar and Dr Mohammed Qaroot. 
 
His Excellency Eng.  Adel bin Mohamed Fakeih, Acting Health Minister, said he wants an improvement in the running of the hospital. He said: “The new management team will be taking up post immediately, and the Ministry of Health will not hesitate to take decisive action when needed.”
 
“The decision to make changes at King Fahad hospital has been taken by the Ministry of Health to improve the quality of patient care.” added H.E Fakieh.
 
The Ministry of Health has made public safety a priority, and has already taken action to tackle the MERS Corona virus, including working with local and international medical experts, as well as designating major hospitals in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam as specialist centres on MERS.
