A Number of Health Projects to Be Inaugurated in Al-Jouf Today Evening

His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Bader bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Al-Jouf region, will inaugurate today evening a number of huge health projects and will lay the foundation stone of other  projects, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah. These projects, including King Abdulaziz Specialized Hospital, Prince Miteb bin Abdulaziz Hospital, the Specialized Dental Center and the Diabetes Center in Sakaka, are deemed to be the largest in Al-Jouf history, with a total cost exceeding SR one billion.
 
The Director General of Al-Jouf Health Affairs, Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Mu‘allem, has pointed out that King Abdulaziz Specialized Hospital accommodates 300 beds and its establishment cost hit SR 453 million, while Prince Miteb bin Abdulaziz Hospital accommodates 300 beds and its construction cost rocked SR 321 million.   As for the cost of the Specialized Dental Center and the Diabetes Center, it was SR 50 million and SR 7 million respectively.
Dr. Al-Mu‘allem has announced that His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Bader will lay the foundation stone of other new health projects, including 16 medical warehouses in al-Jouf region at a total cost of SR 64 million, as well as outpatient clinics at Dawmat Al-Jandal Hospital at a total cost of SR 10 million, the second phase of Prince Miteb bin Abdulaziz Hospital’s Housing Project at a total cost of SR 30 million, the first phase of Prince Miteb bin Abdulaziz Hospital's Housing Project at a total cost of SR 33 million, the second phase of the Mental Health Hospital’s Housing Project at a total cost of SR 33 million, and the two phases of Tabarjal Hospital’s Housing Project at a total cost of SR 15 million.
 
Dr. Al-Mu‘allem went on adding that these medical edifices are deemed to be the largest in Al-Jouf history and constitute a paradigm shift in the health services, expressing his hope that this would meet the needs and aspirations of the people of this country as instructed by the Kingdom’s rules, May Allah protect them, who don’t spare any efforts to provide the citizens with the finest health services. Besides, he prayed for Allah to confer health and well-being upon all people.
 
Within the same vein, Dr. Al-Mu‘allem extended his thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Salman bin Abdulaziz, His Royal Highness the Second Deputy Prime Minister, Prince Meqren bin Abdulaziz, His Royal Highness the Governor of Al-Jouf, Prince Fahd bin Bader bin Abdulaziz and His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz AL-Rabeeah. It didn’t escape Dr. Al-Mu‘allem’s notice to thank all his colleagues working at Al-Jouf Health Affairs General Directorate, for their strenuous efforts in finalizing these projects.
