Emir of Madinah Commends efforts of the Employees of the Health Affairs Directorate

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz, the Emir of Madinah region, Head of the Madinah Hajj Committee, extended his thanks and appreciation to the director-general and the employees of the Madinah Health Affairs Directorate for what they exerted in terms of efforts; in order to provide the optimal services for the Hajj performers, and the visitors of the prophet's Mosque (Al-Masjid al-Nabawi). -peace be upon him.

 

He said in a wire on the occasion of ending of the Hajj second term in Madinah: "thanks to Allah blessings and His grace and the support and care of our prudent government, may Allah support it, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRH the Heir Apparent, HRH the Second Deputy, and HRH the Minister of Interior; the Head of the Higher Hajj Committee, may Allah protect them, the 1434H Hajj season work crowned with success."
 
He went on adding that "may Allah be praised, many achievements and programs fulfilled aiming to developing and upgrading the services provided for the Hajj performers and the visitor's of the prophet's Mosque (Al-Masjid al-Nabawi). This is in collaboration with the Hajj work relevant bodies." He also lauded the support of the Directorate and its participation in the events of the Hajj work partnership management exhibit in the 1434H Hajj season.  
 
Within the same vein, the Director-General of the Madinah Health Affairs Directorate, Dr. Abdullah Al-Taifi expressed his deepest thanks and gratitude to the emir of Madinah for his incessant support for the health services in the region, his ongoing follow-up for their development, and delivering the health care for the region's residents, Hajj performers, and visitors of the Prophet's Mosque (Al-Masjid al-Nabawi).
 
It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Health (MOH) provided remarkable medical services for the Hajj performers this year; to the effect that the total of those served in the hospitals and health centers, spread in the Holy Sites, reached 1205880 Hajj performers. As close as 4015 patients were detained.And quality operations were conducted during this year's Hajj season,that's to say, cardiac catheterization procedures reached 459 ones, as well as 22 open-heart operations. Whereas the dialysis sessions amounted to 1624 ones, and 106 endoscopy procedures were conducted. And the delivery cases reached 24 ones.
