Dr. Al-Rabeeah Meets with His French Counterpart to Discuss Health Cooperation Promotion

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, is to conduct tomorrow “Tuesday” a 3-day visit to the Republic of France. During the visit, Dr. Al-Rabeeah will meet with the French Minister of Health and Social Affairs, in addition to a number of health officials; in order to discuss ways of promoting health cooperation between the Kingdom and France in several health area, including recruiting the medical staff, who yet reached 2833 physicians, to work in the “Visiting Physician” Program in the Kingdom.
 
Within the same vein, the cooperation will cover ways to enhance the treatment of citizens against incurable diseases; that is to be added to researches, studies and training. Dr. Al-Rabeeah will also meet with the French Minister of Foreign Trade and the Presidential Counselor of Health for Eastern Mediterranean. In addition, Dr. Al-Rabeeah will attend a meeting with the French-Saudi Businessmen Council. The agenda includes also holding a meeting with Saudi students in France, aside from paying field visits to some French health and medical institutes and centers.
 
It is worth mentioning that the delegation accompanying Dr. Al-Rabeeah comprises Their Excellences the Vice Minister for Planning and Development, the Deputy Minister for Public Health, the Deputy Minister for Planning and Health Economics, the Assistant Deputy Minister for Planning and Training, the Supervisor General of International Relations, and Director General of Medical Organizations and Health Attaché Offices.
