Dr. Al-Rabeeah Names the Deputy Minister for Curative Services, and Director-General of King Fahad Medical City

Within the policy of the Ministry of Health (MOH) to rotate the leading positions and inject new blood with the aim of pushing forward the health work march and capitalizing on all the qualified health cadres, and in line with the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to develop its services and advance the performance level of its health facilities, in service of the patients, and putting into effect the culture and approach of "Patient Comes First."
 
His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah issued a package of decisions to the effect that Dr. Abdul-Aziz bin Mohammed Al-Hemeidi was named as the Deputy Minister for Curative services and Dr. Mahmoud bin Abduljabbar Yamani as an executive director-general at King Fahad Medical City in Riyadh. This is because Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-A'amr asked to be exonerated from his position as an executive director-general at Riyadh King Fahad Medical City; a desire respected by officials and he was thanked for all the remarkable efforts he exerted during his term in his office.
 
Further, the decisions included extending the portfolio of Dr. Nahar bin Mazki Al-A'azmi as an executive director-general at Prince Mohammed bin Abdul-Aziz Medical City, in service of the north regions of the Kingdom. He also issued a decision to the effect that the portfolio of Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Na'ami is to be extended as an executive director-general at King Faisal Medical City, in service of the south regions of the Kingdom.
 
Within the same vein, His Excellency the Minister of Health urged those tasked with the new positions to exert the utmost effort in terms of serving the patients and gaining their satisfaction, as well as working on advancing the performance level of the MOH's facilities according to the standards of the National Project for Integrated and Inclusive Healthcare, which comprises achieving the principles of justice, equality, and inclusiveness in terms of distributing the health services, accessibility and affordability, wishing for them all success.
 
And he went on urging all the MOH's employees and those working in the health sector to support and cooperate with those tasked with the new positions in their work; in a way achieving the public interest and contributing to pushing the health work march towards more successes,
Meanwhile, those tasked with the new positions extended their gratitude to the Minister of Health for such precious confidence, hoping to live up to everybody's expectations, and contributing with their experience to supporting the health services and the patients' service, in a way achieving everybody's satisfaction.

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Abdul-Aziz bin Mohammed Al-Hemeidi is consulting physician: hematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplantation, and a holder of medicine and surgery bachelor from King Saud University. He also obtained the Arabian, Canadian, and American fellowship on internal medicine, and the sub- fellowship from the U.S. and Canada. In addition to this, he held a number of leading positions at the Military and Specialist Hospitals, the last of which was the executive director for medical affairs at Riyadh King Fahad Medical City.
 
As for Dr. Mahmmud bin Abduljabbar Yamani, a neurosurgery consultant, he is a holder of medicine and surgery bachelor from King Saud University. He also obtained a master degree on the executive health management from University of Washington, the American board on neurosurgery, and the Canadian fellowship on the subspecialty of neurological surgery and skull base surgery. In addition to this, he held a number of leading positions, the last of which was the director of the National Center for Nerve Sciences in Riyadh King Fahad Medical City.
