His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Health for Health Affairs, Dr. Mansour bin Nasser Al-Howasi, extended his thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, May Allah protect him, for his gracious patronage of the inauguration and foundation-laying of several significant health projects at a total cost of SR 12.084.987.421, including the inauguration of 29 hospitals and health facilities, and 391 primary healthcare centers, as well as laying the foundation for two medical cities, projects in three medical cities, a specialist hospital, seven general hospitals, two medical towers, 73 digital operation theatres, and 111 primary healthcare centers.
His highness explained that the prudent directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in his address before the inauguration ceremony had a beautiful impact in the hearts of all MOH officials and employees, which motivated them to exert further efforts so as to provide the best health services to the citizens and residents in the Kingdom.
Dr. Al-Howasi pointed out that these projects come within the framework of the Ministry's plans aiming at horizontal and vertical expansion of health services. Thus, by the launch of these vital and important projects, the Ministry has run a total of 54 hospitals and 645 primary healthcare centers during the past three years. He affirmed that what has been achieved would not have been possible except by the favor of Almighty Allah and then by what the tremendous support shown by and wise directions of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, in an effort to maintain health and comfort for the citizens and residents of our beloved Kingdom.
His Excellency pointed out that this qualitative and quantitative development in health facilities, and of the Ministry's world-class health services go in line with the innovation and application of several medical and technical programs to promote the interest in the patient and to provide higher quality care, synchronizing with the development of the Ministry of Health and its administrative structure, and enhancing institutional work culture and polices, justice, inclusiveness, and integration of services.
Concluding his statement, His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Health for Health Affairs, Dr. Mansour bin Nasser Al-Howasi, prayed for Almighty Allah to protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and grant our beloved Kingdom the blessings of security, stability and prosperity.
