After its Fabulous Success in the 1st Week, the Summer Health Awareness Program Continues

   Within the framework of the health awareness programs offered by the MOH Media Information and Health Awareness Center, and as part of the unstinting efforts made by the Ministry of Health (MOH) seeking to raise people's health awareness, the Director of the Media Information and Health Awareness Center, Ph. Amal bin Mo'awiyah Abul-Jadayel, has announced that the center intends to continue its summer health awareness programs, based on the fabulous success accomplished in its first week, by receiving hundreds of phone-calls on the center's toll-free number, as well as the torrent of tweets posted to the MOH's page on Twitter, concerning several diseases and health problems. The center will continue to interview a constellation of the renowned physicians and specialists, so at to get in contact with the public through the toll-free number: 8002494444, and the MOH's page on Twitter (@saudimoh). They will be receiving callers' inquiries, and providing apt answers for them, as well as important health tips to avoid summer diseases.
 
During the second week, the Media Information and Health Awareness Center is interviewing Dr. Munirah Ba-Ragaa, a consultant of family and community medicine, next Saturday, June 2nd, 2012, from 1 to 3 pm. She will talk about the basic tips to be followed before, during and after travelling. On Sunday, June 3rd, 2012, from 1 to 3 pm, the center will hold an interview with Dr. Safeyyah Al-Sherbini, an endocrinologist and diabetes consultant, to shed light on the suffering of diabetics, and how to best deal with this chronic disease, especially with the beginning of the summer season, as people become more inclined to travel.
On Monday, June 4th, 2012, the center will be interviewing Dr. Nasser Al-Dossari, a gastroenterologist and consultant of liver diseases and endoscopy. From 10 am to 12 pm, he will raise people's awareness of the diseases affecting the liver and digestive system, especially as people tend to depend on fast foods. On Tuesday, June 5th, 2012, from 1 to 3 pm, the center will interview Dr. Muheeb Ahmed Al-Abdullah, a senior cardiologist and consultant of internal medicine, to talk on heart diseases, and the modern developments in their treatment.
 
On the last day, Wednesday, June 6th, 2012, from 10 am to 12 pm, the center is interviewing the Director of Health Awareness, Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Qahtani, to talk about the addiction of electronic and technological devices, highlighting the harm caused by the misuse of such devices.
