Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Lays Foundation Stone for the King Abdullah Center for Cancer & Liver Disease

On Tuesday, 14/6/2011, The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, will sponsor the foundation stone-laying ceremony for the King Abdullah Center for Cancer and Liver Disease at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh.  The center will have a capacity of 300 beds. 

This news was announced by His Excellency the Minister of Health and President of the Board of Directors General of King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Rabeeah. HE expressed his profound gratitude and deep thanks to His Royal Highness for this generous gesture and his great support for health services in the Kingdom.

HE stated that this patronage reflects the keenness of our Leaders to provide the best possible healthcare services to all citizens, and to maintain their health and safety by establishing specialized centers Kingdomwide.

Dr. Al Rabeeah added that this integrated and advanced center will both diagnose and treat cancer.  The center will upgrade the overall level of health services in order to meet and exceed both our leadership’s expectations and our citizens’ healthcare needs. 

Finally, HE asked Allah the Almighty to protect and preserve both the leaders and the people of the nation.
