Distinguished Participation of MOH in Al Janadriyah

The Ministry of Health is providing a number of medical services to the visitors of the National Festival for Heritage and Culture “Al Janadriyah 26”. These services include early checkup for tumors, examination of obesity and diabetes in addition to primary care through specialized clinics in MOH stand in Al Janadriyah.

MOH’s official spokesman, Dr. Khalid Marglani clarified that MOH participation in the festival this year combines preventive, curative and educational services through several primary health care programs, tumors check up program, obesity prevention program, kidney donation program as well as many activities related to raising health awareness about many epidemic diseases and ways to prevent them.
Dr. Marglani stated that participating in Al Janadriyah is part of MOH national active role in this festival. MOH participation improves every year in order to highlight the development of health services in the Kingdom and introduce the citizen to the kingdom’s role under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and His Crown Prince. Moreover, he asserted that stressing that Al Janadriyah Festival has become one of the parameters of Intellectual and cultural cohesion that links the present with the glorious past. The Ministry of Health participates in it because it combines culture and civilization.
Furthermore, he added that this comes Under the directions and guidance of His Excellency Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Rabeeah, to allocate all the capabilities and specialized medical staff to provide check-up services for the festival’s visitors through multiple programs, use this event in activating the educational and preventative aspects and spread health awareness. All departments, medical facilities and laboratories affiliated to the Ministry and its directorates will participate in this festival. MOH participation will also include handling a number of awareness publications to the festival’s visitors about the Ministry's activities and programs, including mother and child programs.
Dr. Marglani expressed his hope that this participation will achieve the desired success and highlight MOH’s effective role in providing health care to those in need and raising health awareness among the society.
MOH’s stand in the festival receives all visitors, who want to learn about the great role played by the Ministry, presents  health symbolic gifts to the public, and launches competitions about health awareness, that includes information about many of the community’s health problems,  to the visitors of MOH ‘s stand.
