Dr. Al Rabeeah: Vision of Medical Cities and Centers of Excellence is Nearly Achieved

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Rabeeah stated that the Ministry is about to achieve the vision of all medical cities and centers of excellence, that were mentioned in the Royal Decrees of allocating SR 16 billion to the Ministry of Health.

Dr. Al Rabeeah added that some medical cities are improving rapidly like King Fahd Medical City that has developed a vision of its centers’ engineering plans. Specialized companies were invited to provide a general idea about recent international designs.
This was stated in a press release after presenting to HE some of the designs of the international companies in his office in the Ministry’s Divan.
Moreover, Dr. Al Rabeeah mentioned that the Ministry formed high follow-up committees to follow and implement Royal Decrees and work teams for each medical city. It has also set a systematic map to assign and carry on responsibilities on an international scientific and professional bases.
Dr. Al Rabeeah clarified about the implementation of medical cities and centers of excellence that any finished city or center will start working despite of its location. The implementation will start as soon as the world-class plans finish, which will take a while.
