Human Crowd Conference View the Kingdom's Successful Experience in Hajj

Health care specialist, contagious diseases consultants and human crowd researchers and experts are looking forward to benefit from the Kingdom's unique experience in Hajj seasons through the International Conference for Human Crowd Impact on General Health, which will be held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques from 23 to 25 October 2010 in Jeddah.
 
Hajj season experience will be the first topic to view in this conference in the presence of the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Rabeeah as well as 12 Ministers from the GCC countries, America, Europe and the Middle East. In addition of World Health Organization General Manager and League of Arab States.
 
Spokesman and General Supervisor of Information and Health Awareness, Dr. Khaled Bin Mohammad Al Mergelani, stated that more than 500 participants will participate in this Conference, where 30 of them are world experts and represent the Ministry of Health in America and Germany, World Health Organization, USA Diseases Combat Centers, League of Arab States, GCC Health Ministers Executive Office, Islamic Bank and FIFA. In addition of unique scientific participations from local Governmental Sectors such as High and Central Hajj Committee, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Hajj, Ministry of Culture and Information, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Ministry of Transport, Saudi Red Crescent Authority, General Authority of Civil Aviation, King Fahd Centre for Hajj Research and Saudi Universities.  
 
Dr. Al Mergelani added that such Conference is considered a great opportunity, to benefit from world experts and specialist experiences in order to develop health care in this significant field, prevent last year accidents and adopt a unified team work.  
 
He also pointed out that the Conference aims to view scientific and practical previous and similar experiences which enhance the effectiveness of the taken health procedures during human crowds in Hajj and Umrah seasons, in addition of viewing the Kingdom's experience in such season since it manages more than 2 million pilgrims in a limited time and geographic area, which makes it a role example in such situation.
 
Moreover, the Minister of health, Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, is committed and dedicated to this Conference, where he directed to form special commission headed by the Deputy Minister Assistance of Curative Medicine to supervise this Conference. In addition of members from all concerned Ministries and bodies in the Kingdom, this results a number of boards headed by the Ministry Officials which held continuous meetings and preparations in order to represent an ideal Conference that reflects a worthy image of the kingdom.
