Dr. Al Qasabi: The Conference Aims to Raise Health Facilities Preparation Standards

Executive General Supervisor of the General Corporation of King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research center, Dr. Qasim Alqasabi has praised the Kingdom's efforts in terms of material and moral, human and logistical aspects that were made to assure having a successful Hajj and Umra seasons. As well as raising the level of the provided health services standards to maintain their health and safety.
 
Dr. Alqasabi clarified in a press statement in the occasion of holding the International Conference on Mass Gathering Medicine, that this conference is sponsored by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz. That is due to the Kingdom's significant attention, presented by the Ministry of Health to provide the highest health services quality to the pilgrims. 
 
The conference includes more than 30 experts and scholars in addition to a number of researches provided to benefit from experts ideas and participating countries experiences, which have similar experiences in Europe, America, Arab countries in addition to the participation of World Health Organization, League of Arab States, Organization of Islamic Conference and other organizations. That is to increase the efficiency of health measurements needed to deal with the increasing mass gatherings during Hajj and Umra seasons.  
 
Dr. Alqasabi added that due to the uniqueness of the Kingdoms experience in these seasons, this conference would provide the recent scientific and practical updates related to similar experiences in providing curative and preventive services which will be beneficial to the Kingdom.
