Fourth Alo Ramadan program launched

The MOH Health Information Center (HIC), in cooperation with Lourbak is preparing to launch the fourth copy of the Alo Ramadan program under the motto: "Pleased to Serve You". The program will be carried out within the efforts exerted by MOH to inform people of the health services available to them during the holy month of Ramadan 1429.
 
HIC has almost accomplished its preparations to receive people's enquiries, which will be answered by consultants in the different fields of medical specialties through the free line 8002494444.
 
The HIC supervisor pharmacist Amal Abul Jadael said the first days will be allotted to the ways of how to reorganize in Ramadan the timing of medicines and antibiotics taken for certain diseases, especially diabetes, heart diseases, and epilepsy.
 
The program will host in its second week the internist and diabetes consultant Dr. Iman Shasha, the urologist Dr Saeed Qattan, the gynecologist Dr. Sameer Sindi and Dr. Hafeeza Turkistani, the Secretary General of the Smoking Prevention Society Mr. Sulaiman Al-Sabi, and the clinical nutritionist Dr. Ibtihaj Al-Areeni.
 
In its third week the program will host the therapeutic nutrition specialist Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Othaimeen, the family and community medicine specialist Dr. Muneera Baraja, the internist and diabetes consultant Dr. Iman Shasha, the cardiologist Dr. Muheeb Al-Abdullah, the internist Dr. Nasser Al-Dossari, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Awareness Caravan Dr. Ali Mohammed Al-Omari.
 
The last week will host the clinical nutritionist Dr. Amal Kinana and the internist and head of diabetes center Dr. Safiya Murad Al-Shirbeeni.
 
In addition, HIC full time pharmacists and specialists will answer the enquiries received during the period from 10:00 am to 03:00 pm.
