Human Rights appreciates MOH employee's behaviour
20 August 2008
The chairman of the Saudi Human Rights Commission Dr. Turki bin Khalid Al-Sidairi has praised the behaviour of the Secretary of the Minister of Health Mr. Bandar bin Nami Al-Sharif, who refused to receive a bribe from a company that imports medical equipment to the Ministry of Health.

He said such behaviour, in spite of the financial and social situation of the employee, which was referred to in the local media, indicates high respect to the honour of his profession as well as high awareness of the importance of protecting the rights of others.

Dr. Al-Sidairi also valued the support of His Highness the Minister of Health Dr. Hamad Al-Mane, which has brought to public notice such a shameful act committed by the medical company.
