Al-Mane OKs SR22 billion for Hafr Al-Baten Hospital

The Minister of Health Dr. Hamad Al-Mane has approved a fund of SR22 billion for rehabilitating King Khalid Hospital in Hafr Al-Baten. The action followed an ordinary inspective tour to a number of MOH hospitals in the different parts of the Kingdom. Dr. Al-Mane paid a sudden visit to the hospital where he checked the emergency unit, the x-ray unit, and other inpatient sections. He directed relative MOH departments to swiftly execute the instructions regarding the developmental works of Hafr Al-Baten hospital.
"Hafer Al-Baten is approaching a health boom and we will not accept any shortages in its health services", he said "MOH has a strategic plan for establishing specialized hospitals in the different parts of the Kingdom within the context of the Health Package Program".
 
With a capacity of 220 beds, Hafer Al-Baten Hospital involves medical specialties such as internal medicine, OB-GYN, skin and genital diseases, general surgery, mouth and dentistry, ENT, osteopathology, Urinary tracts, vascular surgery, nerve surgery, war units, artificial kidney, heart care, physiotherapy, etc.
