The Minister of Health Dr. Hamad A. Al-Mane shall head the 7th meeting of the MOH Executive Council scheduled to be held in Damam, Eastern Province on Tuesday April 10, 2007.
The meeting shall discuss a number of issues, says Dr. Khalid M. Al-Marghalani, the MOH Official Speaker. "Issues of special importance include the obstacles and problems confronting medical supplies, application of the cooperative health insurance, and health economics.
The meeting shall also discuss the concept of health belt hospitals and relative programs, in addition to the ways of improving the performance of primary health centers.
The MOH Executive was established in 1424H. It aims to unify the efforts of the Ministry of Health and activate its plans and programs. It holds its meeting in the different regions for being acquainted of the health services provided there.
