The MOH General Directorate of Information Technology, in coordination with the Saudi Computers Society organized recently a workshop under the title: "Usages of IT in primary health care sector". The workshop will be convened at the MOH Meeting Hall.
The MOH Director General of Information Technology Mr. Saud Al-Otaibi said the workshop aims at showing the advantages of primary health care, its differences from intensive care, and introduction of information technology. "The workshop will cover the electronic filing system, its clinical components, and the steps required for achieving its application", he said.
He said the workshop will host Dr. Bakhit bin Mardi Al-Dosari, the assistant professor at the Department of Health Information Technology, Faculty of Public Health and Health Information, King Saud University. "The aim behind such workshops and lectures is to introduce information technology into all MOH facilities", he said.
