The Minister of Health Dr. Hamad Al-Mane has opened at the MOH Training Center in Riyadh the training program organized by the MOH General Directorate of Hospitals in coordination with the MOH Directorate of Training and Scholarship. The program aims at rehabilitating the nominees for directing the new 50 bed hospitals.
"MOH is seeking to provide the new managers with the necessary administrative and technical skills required for enabling them to effectively carry out their responsibilities", said MOH Official Speaker Dr. Khalid M. Al-Marghalani. "The new managers are assigned to perform their duties through utilizing available capabilities and linking hospitals to surrounding environment".
He said the program will equip the new managers with the basics of hospital management, the basic principles of health care quality, the regulations governing the works of 50 bed hospitals, in addition to the basics of effective management, including decision making, time management, art of customer service, problem solving, effective delegation, etc.
