    Implementing Regulations of GCC Uniform Law for Medical Waste Management

    This law aims to establish an appropriate control and monitoring method for the processes of production, sorting, storage, transportation, treatment and disposal of hazardous healthcare waste in safe ways in the GCC countries. It also aims to support and develop the processes of treating this type of waste in a way that preserves public health and prevents environmental pollution. This law applies to every producer, carrier or disposer working in the processes of collecting, storing, transporting, treating or disposing of hazardous healthcare waste. As for radioactive materials, they are dealt with in accordance with the Unified System for Handling Radioactive Materials in the GCC Countries.
