Since launching the Home Medicine Program (HMP) in Samtah General Hospital, its home medical team conducted 9,093 home visits, benefiting more than 539 patients across Samtah Governorate.
The Program keeps on providing its medical services to 176 patients, who were enrolled in the program, by a medical team enhanced with adequate medical supplies required for patient needs. This team features a physician, 5 nurses (3 males and 2 females), a social worker, a physiotherapist and a medical secretary.
The hospital's HMP provides its therapeutic, preventive, awreness, rehabilitation and social services to a specific category of patients at their homes and among their families according to certain criteria by the qualified medical team.
