Over 800 Quit Smoking in Jazan

​According to Jazan Health Affairs, during the first four months of the current year 2019, the anti-smoking clinics at hospitals and healthcare centers served 1,237 outpatients, including 803 quitters. 

Also, 9,538 patients benefited from the smoking clinics' programs and awreness activities, adds the Affairs.

The clinic aims to provide the best preventive and therapeutic services to help quitting smoking by means of qualifying doctors and health staff on the smoking cessation program in line with the Saudi Guide for Tobacco-Cessation Services.

The clinic also aims to provide educational and preventive services to outpatients, as well as helping those willing to quit smoking by providing them with therapeutic services (behavioral - pharmacological).
