The Ministry of Health (MOH), in collaboration with the National Tobacco Control Committee (NTCC), continues the Anti-Smoking Awareness Campaign.
MOH has published an awareness-raising videos on its twitter page under an Arabic hashtag: (#مرت كأنها ثواني), which means (Smoking years passed as if it were seconds), highlighting the health risks of smoking, as well as calling smokers to contact with 937-Service Center to quit.
“We may experience many situations in years as if they were seconds. Smoking takes years off smokers’ lives, while the decision to quit needs only seconds to change their lives. Hence, please contact 937-Service Center to make an appointment to quit,” stated MOH.
