Health Tips for Exercising during Ramadan
06 May 2019

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has highlighted the importance of exercising during the holy month of Ramadan. In an infographic published on its twitter page within its awareness campaign: «Healthy Fasting», MOH has pointed out that the best time for exercising is between breakfast (Iftar) and abstinence period (Imsaak) in Ramadan. Also, MOH has advised the fasting person not to exhaust himself/herself in exercising, to exercise in moderate weather and good ventilation, in addition to consulting the physician in case of any health problems.

It is worth mentioning that such awareness-raising activities come in continuation of MOH's efforts to maintain the health and safety of fasting persons, to promote health awareness, and to urge them to adopt healthy behaviors.
