MOH: 2nd Issue of «Health Vision» Newsletter Released

​​​​​The Ministry of Health's (MOH) Vision Realization Office (VRO) has released the second issue of «Health Vision» newsletter, which aims to highlight health transformation initiatives and its projects and programs implemented in the health system in line with the National Transformation Program and achievements of the Kingdom Vision 2030.


The issue's main story is: 18 million steps in the walking campaign: #Walk30, which aims to highlight the national event for promoting prevention and walking culture across the Kingdom.


The newsletter also highlighted the health concept in all policies in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030, the efforts exerted by the health unit, the cooperation between ministries to achieve the national objective, the strategy for evaluating the current situation, looking further in the future, as well as population health determinants in the Kingdom. 

The newsletter addressed some quality projects such as «Watin» -Aorta- App launched in collaboration with the community participation program for blood donation.

Moreover, the newsletter highlighted MOH's participation in various events, such as: the first Gulf Health Council Conference, Global Patient Safety Summit, which brought together 25 ministers from 50 countries and praised the Kingdom's leading role in the field of patient safety and inauguration of «Itezaz Forum» to appreciate the nursing profession. 

The newsletter also shed light on the campaign to force food facilities to put calorie count on meals, which came into effect on January 1st, 2019, particularly on the main meals such as: burger, chicken and dates.
The newsletter included news about transformation in the Kingdom carried out by VRO's different bodies, and local and international periodic meetings of different work teams to achieve the objectives of Kingdom Vision 2030 with high quality.
