According to Makkah Health Affairs, during the first half of this year, Maternity and Children Hospital provided its services to 178,299 patients, including 10,549 inpatients, 95,299 at emergency department, 64,338 at outpatient clinics, 2 cardiac catheterization, 12 heart surgeries, in addition to 2,206 surgical operations including one emergency and 1,259 scheduled surgeries. Also, the hospital received 4,634 birth cases, adds the Affairs.
