As a part of its comprehensive plan to improve health services, Al-Baha Health Affairs has provided electric vehicles at King Fahad Hospital to transport patients, visitors, the elderly and others between the hospital's entrance and parking lot (more than 500 meters). They are three open vehicles, two of them accommodate eight passengers and the third for transporting special-needs individuals. The shuttle service transports beneficiaries to and from the parking lot. The work is currently underway to provide two enclosed vehicles during cold season.
It is noteworthy that the electric vehicles is one of the initiatives of "It Is My Pleasure to Serve You" office of the Patient Experience Department.
