Under the supervision and follow-up of His Excellency, the Health Minister, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, the mystery shopper program continues efforts to promote the health services' quality as one of MOH's initiatives for national transformation and achievement of the Kingdom Vision 2030.
The program aims to assess the health care performance level from the perspective of the service user in a realistic and objective manner, by posing as a user during periodic field visits to all health facilities, and then submitting the assessment outputs to decision makers to implement projects and initiatives that will improve the health care services. Since its launch in 2017 until now, the program has paid 2,038 visits including 958 primary healthcare centers.
In view of the expansion of the scope of work, a workshop was recently held targeting around 100 MOH's employees across the Kingdom's regions to form the largest number of higly-qualified collaborators to conduct field visits in order to achieve the aspirations of the management and integration with the relevant authorities.
