Bisha Health Affairs has launched anti-smoking mobile clinic at University's branch in Bisha, Science and Arts Colleges, Tathleeth Province. The clinic provides awareness, therapeutic and psychological services to students and staff by a specialized team, in addition to developing appropriate plan to help smokers quit, and to provide nicotine alternatives to be used to kick the habit for good.
The clinics come as a continuation of the Ministry of Health's (MOH) efforts to develop treatment services to help smokers who wish to quit the bad habit by inaugurating several anti-smoking clinics across the Kingdom and issuing the Saudi Guide for Tobacco-Cessation Services, as a guide for service providers.
It is noted that the Affairs has 14 anti-smoking clinics across hospitals, healthcare centers and some government departments.
