MOH: Registration for Field Epidemiology Diploma Now Open

​​​The Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced opening the door for graduates of Human Medicine and Dentistry to enroll into the 2-year Diploma of Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) for the coming academic year (2019/2020), starting from February 1st to March 20th, 2019 (corresponding to Jumada Al-Oula 26th to Rajab 11th, 1440H). The program is organized by the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine at King Saud University (KSU) in Riyadh.

 

The Ministry pointed out that applicants for this program will be notified by the admission test date to later on complete their procedures. Besides, the Ministry highlighted that applicants are required to be Saudis and having a bachelor's degree in human medicine or dentistry, in addition to having one of the English proficiency tests with no less than a 6-point ILETS score or its equivalent in other tests. Furthermore, the applicants should be totally free for the Program, able to work in the field epidemiology domain, and able to frequently travel even to remote areas. Also, applicants are required to submit scientific recommendations (at least two) from experts in the same domain, along with their resumes, given that this program is provided annually for one applicant from the Ministry of Health in each country of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

The Ministry called upon those applicants, willing to join the Program, to send all required documents, via this e-mail.
