The Northern Borders Health Affairs has intensified its preparations to receive pilgrims at Jadidat Arar's access point. The Seasonal Hospital, the Medical Clearance Office, and the Health Monitoring Center in Pilgrims’ City at Jadidat Arar access point have been fully equipped. The hospital features 15 medical clinics and departments with a 50-bed capacity. It is enhanced with 50 medical and administrative staff, a highly advanced ICU ambulance, and a health awareness & anti-smoking ward, in addition to four equipped isolation rooms. The Affairs is working 24/7 to serve pilgrims and to ensure that they are free of diseases and given the necessary vaccines through the Medical Clearance Office.
It is worth mentioning that the Northern Borders Health Affairs features 12 specialized medical centers (a cardiac center, 5 diabetes centers, 3 kidney centers, and 3 dental centers), as well as 11 hospitals with a 1,410-bed capacity, which are enhanced with a number of delicate medical specialties such as: neurosurgery, heart surgery, bariatric surgery, endoscopy, and others. Also, the Affairs has 48 primary healthcare centers.
