In continuation of its relentless efforts to increase the contribution of the private sector to providing health services and improving their quality and efficiency, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has signed a number of agreements with the Ministry of Finance (MOF). These agreements feature the establishment of five health projects (with a 1,370 bed-capacity and a total area of 419,291 m2) disseminated in four cities: Riyadh, Al-Khobar, Bisha, and Abha. These agreements come as part of the Government Loan Programs to activate the private sector role in the development areas.
It is worth mentioning that the Government Loan Program seeks to boost the development objectives and Saudi Vision 2030 through providing the necessary support for the private sector and enhancing the economy's ability to create diverse job opportunities. Also, this development movement comes as part of MOH’s system initiatives and one of its core pillar to activate the partnership with the private sector, in line with the National Transformation Program (NTP) 2020.
On the other hand, the Business Call Center of the Ministry of Health (MOH) continues providing its services to users through its number (920018090). The Center is designed to boost satisfaction of both investors and clients of the private health sector. It also aims to streamline business processes at the Ministry, to boost investment, to promote private health facilities' efficiency, to foster trust between MOH and beneficiaries, to secure ongoing communication to create a healthy relation based on partnership, and to improve MOH's responsiveness to provide timely assistance.
Likewise, the new Center reflects a cutting-edge approach towards business customer care within the private health sector. The Center provides a suite of services, including receiving requests to the Ministry, follow up of financial benefits, receiving complaints and inquiries on medical licenses and private health facilities' commitments, any feedback on MOH's performance, and providing information on investment in private health sector.
It is worth mentioning that feedback will be received by the Business Call Center during official working hours from 08:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m. 7 days a week. The Center serves suppliers of medicines and medical appliances, owners of private health facilities, small and medium health facilities, public contributors to the health sector, national and foreign investors, national health manufacturers, and Service Procurement Program hospitals. The Center also provides its services to suppliers outside the health sector.
