King Abdulaziz Kidney Center of King Fahad General Hospital- Madinah is one of the main kidney dialysis centers in the region, thanks to the integrated medical services it provides for patients with renal failure.
The center features 95 well-equipped beds for the convenience of patients, in accordance with MOH-approved standards. The center operates 12 hours a day, from 7am to 7pm. According to the center's statistics, during a year, the center conducted 54,288 dialysis sessions at an average of 4,524 sessions/month, in addition to 45 peritoneal dialysis sessions. Also, the kidney transplant team so far has conducted 28 surgeries in collaboration with King Fahad Specialist Hospital- Dammam.
During the upcoming period, the center plans to add 16 new beds equipped with the needed appliances. Also, the center designated a special room for Madinah's visitors, with the aim of serving them as quickly as possible and ensuring that their schedules are not interrupted. It is noted that the center receives 30 cases a day.
