By Allah's Grace, a medical team at Turaif General Hospital has successfully saved a lady in her 20s from a tumor. The patient was suffering from severe abdominal pain with increased abdominal swelling, constipation and frequent urination. After due medical and radiological checkups, she was diagnosed with a 20x25cm cyst in the right ovary and ascites. Immediately she was transferred to the operating room and through an abdominal exploratory procedure, a mixed cyst was discovered along with a first degree volvulus (twisted bowel). The 4kg mixed cyst (20x30cm) was totally excised and the team managed to maintain the ovary and uterine. Then, the patient was put under supervision until she recovered, thank Allah.
