By Allah’s Grace, a medical team at the Cardiac Center- Arar, for the first time, has successfully placed stents using the culottes technique for a 55-year-old lady who has been suffering from persistent chest pain. After due medical examinations, she was diagnosed with frontoparietal ischemia. Also, an endoscopic procedure revealed a narrowing in the anterior descending coronary artery and one of its sub arteries. The technique has become one of the adopted methods to treat the narrowing of the coronary artery at the branching point, thank Allah.
It is noteworthy that the Northern Health Affairs provides health services to citizens through 11 hospitals with a capacity of around 1,410 beds. Also, the region has 48 healthcare centers.
