King Khalid Hospital- Tabuk: Average Wait Time To See Doctor Reduced to 18 Days

​By implementing MOH’s Performance Program «Adaa’», King Khalid Hospital - Tabuk has successfully reduced the average wait-time for a new patient to see a doctor from 55 to 18 days, and to have MRI scan from 37 to 20 days, in addition to improving the percentage of the on-time first surgical case start to 80%. The Program has also contributed to increasing the percentage of outpatients (whose wait-time to see a doctor is under 30 minutes) from 33% to 76% at King Fahad Specialist Hospital - Tabuk.

It is worth mentioning that MOH is currently implementing «Adaa’» Program, which covers 70 main hospitals across the Kingdom so far. The program features over 40 indicators to measure the performance of seven key therapeutic aspects, including emergency, clinics, surgeries, hospitalization, ICU, radiology and laboratories. The program aims to develop the skills of health professionals to use the indicators, to identify performance improvement potentials, and to boost productivity, performance quality and efficiency of health services in hospitals.​
